we would like to know how people make the crystals that some people sell at flea markets and yard sales some are big and some are small, they are crystals like and you can put them on fish string and hang them from your car window. we need to know where to get the things to make them asap please help us out.

you can go on the box next to Search web and type in what you want and explore. I found www.bestbuybeads.com there and they have some beads with the hold in the tip of the crystal ready for the fish string. they also have other supplies that you might need or try some of the other sites.

I may not give you much more than opinions, but I offer them anyway.

Certainly Crystals aren't strictly "made" they actually GROW. Or are found in rocks conducive to them. They are also SOLD even with holes drilled in, Faceted like the gem stome they are, and yes, can be hung. (which I guess is a MAKING process in effect)

The facets create prisms, which is where the light and color variations come from.

For decorating interiors I've seen them recreated in clear plastic, but don't know if they have the Prism effect.

Making them might be a labor intensive challenge. I'm going to assume you want to do that either as a home based business, A flea market enterprise, or as gifts? Why not just go online and search for Chandelier accessories and hardware. I've salvaged more than a few in my day, and they are ready to hang and refract light.
