my kids colored on my computer screen with what looks like color pencil. it is one of those new type screens that isnt glass, but the kind that when you touch it it makes cool colors. what can take it off? its in red.. what wont make the screen brake by cleaning it?

Go to the drug store and buy a bottle of "Isopropyl Alcohol" (about $2 for a quart bottle). Place a small amount on a soft cloth and test a small unused area of the screen first. If OK, then use it to remove the marks.

Hi You have an LCD screen. Normal cleaners may be too harsh. Most computer stores carry a special cleaner for LCD screens. Just remember to be GENTLE. Scratches, like diamonds, are forever.

Ray, is correct, you might want to dilute it 50-50, but do not use any harsh chemicals, it will ruin your screen. Rub it very gently, spray directly on a clean soft cloth (I use a T-shirt) and do not use much pressure, let the alcohol do the job. It will dry very quickly, because of the alcohol. Good Luck..

DEFINATELY , a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser!!!!! It took DRIED nail polish out of bathtub !!!! It will take coffee and kool -aid stains off of counter tops too !! It is REALLY good and you only get it wet with WATER , and wring it out !! NO CHEMICALS !!!!!!! Also , open a can of whoop a $$ and let your kids know that a computer is a TOOL NOT a TOY !!!

Try one of the Cleaning wipe Like Nice'n Cleans Anti-Statis Cleaning wipes. Wal-mart normaly carrys them...

one thing that worked on walls for me was wd40, but on comp screen I do not know
