You should play a song that you and your new husband both share and like, regardless of what it is (eg I mean it could be The Monster Mash or something) as the first dance always belongs to the happy couple.

Make sure you get the DJ to play some music from all era's. Pending on who is going to your wedding, as everyone likes to have a dance at a wedding no matter how old they are.

Hope you have a great day
Congratulations in advance

For all that is good and kind DON'T put U2's "one" on the list... same goes for "with or without you". U2's "in a little while" would be a good one, most Corrs songs would do the trick, some - only some - Fleetwood Mac songs. NO Sarah McLachlan songs (listen to the lyrics if you want to know why) ... apart from that, just the classics.

First of all, congrats!! :) I'm also getting married soon and I've been working on my playlist. Here's some of what I have so far:

"More Than a Love Song" by Augustana
"Forever" by Breaking Benjamin
"Rest of My Life" by Unwritten Law
"My Best Friend" by Weezer
"Untitled" by Emery
"One Perfect Something" by Edgewater
"The Secret's In The Telling" by Dashboard Confessional

But of course, it's all going to vary greatly depending on your and your fiance's musical interests. :) Good luck!

"The Wedding Song" by Paul Stookey unless you're an agnostic or atheist since the some of the lyrics come from the Bible.

Include "Song for the Asking" by Simon and Garfunkle. It's one of the most romantic songs ever written. I'm also really partial to "At Last" by Etta James.
