Why does the U.K get to watch Spiderman 3 before the U.S?

Huh, that is weird. It is only the premiere that's shown in UK first though - it's on general release in UK and USA the same day (May 4th).

The producers can choose where the film premieres - I don't know why they chose England before USA, but they chose the first film's first premiere to be in the Philipines so it gets weirder!

Because they want to torture the British with their poor casting choice and character change for Venom.

Why not?
The US doesn't have to be the first to see very movie ever released.
