I prefer to slip my shoes on. One reason is that I have arthritis and it makes it much easier to just slip my feet into my shoes rather than tie them.

I tie my running shoes once, when I first buy them. I double the bow then I just slip them on..

I prefer to just slip them on. In my younger days, my sneakers had to be tied just right . barred across to be cool , tight enough to run, loose enough not to restrict movement. I was quite serious. There was even a time when a lot of us greasers didn't think it cool to even ware sneakers. Either motorcycle boots of half boots with Cuban heels and horse shoe taps. That was Brooklyn anyway.
Now , I just slip em on. What ever I wear.

Definitely just slip them on, I hate fidgeting with shoe laces.
