Money is the #1 cause of fights in marriages of all durations.

everyone fights at some point, after the honeymoon stage is over, they begin to see each other the way they really are, and sometimes its a big let down, because of ones perceptions. before marriage, all seems to be so wonderful, actually we overlook problems during that stage, we see only the good, and the bad doesn't seem to bother us, but once married, when there are problems, and there are going to be, we become disenchanted and feel our expectations of that person aren't getting met, so that may be a cause of fights.

Living with someone day in and day out isn't easy even when you love and adore them... Arguements are bound to crop up due to differences in personality, different ways of doing certain tasks etc. If you think about it rationally if a couple never argued/disagreed /fought. it would be really strange...

It's not that a married couple fights/ argues/disagrees but how they resolve that is most telling and a best indicator of the health of the marriage...

Because when you first fall in love you put your best foot forward. When you first get married you play house and have fun and then bam reality hits. More and more stresses happen due to money, kids and bills. It is normal to get in a disagreement with a loved one. If married life was like leave it to beaver or the brady bunch everyone would be crazy because they have bottled up thier emotions.

To many people, a sense of ownership falls over them at the altar...sad, but true. They feel that they no longer have to do anything to keep their mate in love with them..sad, but true. Many think that the "I do" is a guarantee of a "Happy ever after." It isn't . Many think that all their problems will disappear like in the fairytales were are taught to believe in all our lives...they don't . Many think that "I do" has magical powers that change thier mates into the ideal they dreamed of before marriage...it doesn't. I could go on and on, but I think you get my drift.

because you're combining two very individual lifestyles in a small space-- differences are bound to occur. The important thing isn't that you fight after you're married-- it's that you have made a committment to communicate with one another and find a solution to your disagreement in order to make-up.

Couples always fight, just like families fight. It's part of being in a relationship.

MOST PEOPLE FIGHT BECAUSE THEY ARE USED TO BEING ON THIER OWN & DOING WHAT THEY WANT TO WITHOUT ASKING SOMEONE ELSE. THEY FOUND OUT THIER ARE ALOT OF THINGS THEY DON'T LIKE ABOUT EACH OTHER & THEY HAVE TO ADJUST TO THEM. SOMETIMES THEY TRY TO CHANGE EACH OTHER. BAD MISTAKE. IF THEY CAN JUST REMEMBER WHY THEY FELL IN LOVE & WHAT ARE SOME OF THOSE REASON'S THEN THEY CAN WORK THINGS OUT.

Because if you never fight and have peace and quiet your marriage would never be a good one because you think your partner is either scared of you, boring, or lieing to you because they act like they agree with you.
