Why is America allowing itself to be lulled by propaganda and shady intelligence reports?

How many of those intelligence meetings did you sit in on Shibboleth? I would say nil! Every inch of so called evidence that placed our men and women in Iraq, was for the advancement of Haliburton and big oil. Maybe you're their CPA?

Tom take your meager two points and keep the change. You'll need it for your hunting trip with Cheney. Don't forget the First Aid Kit!

The American people are letting the country go down the tubes because they are to busy with their own struggle that the powers that be have created for us. Also we have become a bunch of weak babies. We see this tuff happening but are afraid to do something about it because they don't want any penalties. When we let the government do what they want then they become more powerful. We the people have created a monster and have no way of controlling it until we learn how to work together. Great example of fear is the IRS. We allowed the IRS come into power. Have you ever seen a law that says you need to pay income taxes? Their is no law from what i found out and the IRS won't show us the law but they say you gotta pay up or we will make your live a living hell. That is scary to the average person who has worked so hard for the crumbs they get. Just remember this, when a man has nothing to loose he is the most dangerous thing on earth because he has everything to gain. That means if you have nothing to take then they have no power over you. You have all the power.

I would like to respond to the first post on here (I think) when they talked about how our government has foiled terrorist attacks. how could you be so stupid to believe that? We have insiders that create these "terrorist attacks". Sure there are actual terrorist that attack places but a lot of our operatives are in certain places carrying out missions to give us reason to attack. It is the same thing Hitler did and it is scary to see that bush is basically repeating history.

You ask why the American People are allowing themselves to be lulled by propaganda and shady intelligence reports. Well, the answer is simple.

Those who are gaining by this situation aren't going to protest are they? And the rest of us are so busy trying to make ends meet in a system that is designed to make us so stressed out just surviving, that they can't find the time or the energy to protest this! YUP! WAGE SLAVES who are maxed out and slammed up against the financial and bureucratic wall can't find the time to protest. . . most of them can't even find the time to vote! And it has all been planned this way!

So, anybody with a spare moment should at least e-mail the elected officials and if they can give money to unseat this awfull group of people who have taking over our country. Or join Move On and participate!

It is awfull for the majority of Americans. . .trying to hold on to their jobs, pay the bills. . .and it is one thing after another to keep them suppressed and distracted.

If you can't find a Bush protest near you then you're not looking hard enough. The link I'm providing has a state by state breakdown of protests going on, and there are a LOT of them. You might have to get up and leave the computer to join in, but hey, that's what our country's all about. Right?

I wish I could figure that out. Back in the 60's and 70's we were much more verbal and reactive about issues. Civil Rights, Women's Rights, the war in Vietnam, you name it. I suspect that maybe my generation was better informed and we apparently had more social conscience. Seems as though there is a lot of complacency among today's youth. In addition, you have an administration that accuses it's citizens who DO speak out against anything the administration supports, of being "traitors". Say one word against the war in Iraq, and you're told that you 'don't support our troops'. I find it amazing that this person 'leading' our country still has his job. He has managed to alienate every country that used to support us. Scary and sad.

How can our intelligence be so "shady" if we keep undermining terrorist plots before they happen?

Are you actually that dumb that you can't figure this out on your own?
