how often does some one like myself on disability have to refile or what I mean is fill out those long drawn out questioneres

Most business are closed on the weekend. Government offices are too. The government can improve their efficiency by increasing their use of the Internet.

All federal offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday just like all business offices are almost closed for the week end.

Most Business are CLOSED on the weekend- why would you expect the gov. building to be any different. Geeezzz they even get 3 day holidays if the holiday is on a weekend. But yeah they need to destress, the same as anyone else who works for a living.

I'm handicapped, but don't ask for Social Security. I don't need to go to the office on Saturday.

Usually yes, unless you have an appointment for that day. Which would probably be schedule earlier than 1pm.
Walk-ins usually are better served during regular business hours. Try tuesday!
