very happy about the pick the lions made today best player in the draft and i am hearing great things like he is being compared to jerry rice, terrell owens, keyshawn johnson, and randy moss. I am hearing that they now are interested in a deffensive player in round 2 and are targeting ohio state QB troy smith in round 3 this would be awesome if this is to happen please update me on anything you hear about the lions.

They could wait till the 4th or 5th round to draft Troy.

Dude they could easily get Smith in the Third Round and could probably pick him up in the Fourth round with them having the second pick.

They picked him because they could not trade the pick to TB. But since they took TB player they might get to trade him for next year's picks and Gaines Adams kind of like what the Giants did for Manning.

It should be no problem to get Smith in the 3rd round, or the 4th, 5th, or 6th.

They pick too many Wideouts. But it's a good pick, he's their best one.
