first..check if you car stereo can play mp3 files. If so...I suggest you simply transfer the files into the disc as "mp3" it fits more and they keep the quality. If you burn as "cd" format..then you will fit less in the disk. I currently have a disc that holds 150 mp3s.
Yes, save as 'data' not 'sound'. Because all you'll be doing is tranfering from one folder to another. However, make sure you save directly onto the disk without folders.

As long as your headunit can play mp3s you should choose "burn data disc". If it only plays regular music cds a data disc will not work and you need to burn a music cd.

if u burn as a data disc then u can only use the cd in the computer, but u should burn it as an audio disc, and make sure that the songs are the proper mp3 format, ram will not work

Ignore the ones telling you that your CD player won't recognise it if you burn it as a Data CD. If your CD player in your car recognises mp3s, burn it as a Data CD.

Yes you should. Since MP3's are considered data to CD's players, that'll do it.
I assume your car CD player plays MP3 discs as well already.

If your car can take mp3 cds then yes. If not you have to make it a music cd.

for goodness sake why is all this advice so off centre?? - just burn the cd as an audio disk and you can play it in your car, on your computer, on your hi-fi or stereo unit - or anywhere you play ordinary cds.
