There is no program to provide free medical care for illegal aliens. Emergency rooms must take anyone who comes whether or not they have health insurance. The emergency room does bill everyone. Believe me, I have been to emergency rooms several times and I or my insurance have always been billed. But many illegals do not pay or do not give a valid address. Its not that they get free medical care, its that they are dead beats.

They only get emergency care unless they are enrolled in some kind of government program.
I assume that those illegals who get the aid are engaged in fraud -- fooling the government that they are citizens.
I hope that's the case any way.
Anyone who needs it gets emergency care. I certainly don't have any beef with that I hope you don't. If an illegal is hit by a car, his life should be saved no matter what the cost.
That's just the kind of people we Americans are. But when he is healed -- he's outta here!

Because the politicians are pandering to the bloc of voters who are comprised of illegal immigrants. Yes, I know, they cannot vote legally. But, they can vote illegally, because they are already illegal. The same goes for pandering to the minorities who do not have medical insurance, they all have Medicare and the states' medical insurance, all for free. Yet the taxpayers are paying through the nose.
Vote the rascals out.

Anyone who goes to a public hospital will be seen no matter if they can afford it or not.
Your assumption that only illegal aliens can receive basic healthcare is not correct.
If you go to a private hospital, they can turn you away.
In short, public = anyone, private = only paying customers.
Also, the obese and tobacco users spend far more of our tax dollars in regards to healthcare than illegals ever could.

They give false names and addresses. In other words they lie about their identity and where they live. Then the hospital cant find them to get them to pay. They do not care about breaking the law as they did it when they snuck across out border.
