I need to find something in the house to convert the grams, but I don't know what to use or how to do it.

If you can get a measuring jar graduated in cc (ml), measure 58 cc of water and balance that against the salt. 58 cc of water weighs 58 grams and so when you balance it against the salt, you will have the quantity needed.

If you have a measuring device for volume, you can convert 58 grams to mL. The density of salt is 2.16 v=58/2.16
