While I appreciate your chivalry, in my family, whoever is carting the kids around gets the safest car.
My Daddy and husband taught me how to fix all the easy stuff so I would never have a problem on the side of the road.

I think each one should have a great car.
Yeah, there are a lot of mean people who prey on women, but all she has to do is give the predator a nice kick to the groin and they will back off. And men are not stronger than all women. Believe it or not, many, many, many women are stronger than men. And women most likely have better knowledge for fixing a car, because the female mind is very mechanical. Females also have a higher knowledge capacity.

What sexist thinking. I actually can fix my car while my brothers cannot. However, I sort of agree with you especially if the woman has main care of children. It is no longer true that only women get preyed upon. Many men get killed and attacked also.

i believe whoever has to drive the farthest to work and also depends on whose got the kids in the car at that time...I have the better car as the women because i drive farther and I usually have the kids. But if he has to go somewhere ans I dont he will take my car. i think youre reasoning is very chauvinistic. I can do as much as a man can. Except a few things of course...lol.

No, the husband should have the more reliable car because he has to go to work. The wife, as she is a stay-at-home-wife, doesn't need as good of a car because she's not going far from home anyway. :)

i think she should have the more reliable car. with all the errands she has to run, taking the children where they got to go; it just makes sense that her car is safer. There a bunch of crazies out there whose sole intention is to victimize women. I am glad that you feel the same way. You really do have a woman's interests at heart!

I agree...my husband and I have had this argument before. My logic is... I am responsible for transporting the kids around town and if the car breaks down, it is insafe for me and the kids to hitch a ride or walk.
