when I turned on my computer there was a message that said that the network cable is unplugged however I already checked the cables but still the message is there.
What can I do? which one is the cable

I had the some problem with telephone link!!! what I did was phoned my telephone company and they told me what to do. So I would have to tell you phone you cable company to find out what is going on; they will willing to help you get though the problem.. I hope this helps and good luck!!!!!

See if the cabel on the other end connecting to the
-Cable/DSL modem is pluged in.
-If it is then get a jump drive, down load this utility. Winsock fix, this should fix it. (http://www.snapfiles.com/download/dlwinsockxpfix.html)
- If it does not then depending on the computer there is diagnostic software from the manufactuer, run that if that comes up nothing then
-Replace the cable, if that does not fix the issue then
-Replace the NIC.

The network cable will be the one that looks like a large phone plug. When it is plugged in most NIC will have lights theat show you that it is connected and functioning. Hope this helps.

blue or yellow is the cable you want , in the control panel install the either net adapters then reboot, system will guide you thought the set up process , this will solve your problem
