I was there last night at Magic Kingdom..it's so much fun. There's music all over the place that we actually listen to, there are live events, the Fray played so the concert was actually decent. What was so amazing is that everyone there is OUR age, Disney doesn't need to try to cater to adults and little kids alike, so everything is geared toward US. It is a very long event and you will realize by about midnight that you've done pretty much everything and you may be bored for the next three hours..but enjoy your time you will sorely miss it the next day (I know I do!) and you're going to be VERRYYYY tired haha.

I've gone as a chaperone 16 times. Yup. 16 years. And I am going this year too.... SO. The best things to do... they have live bands, dj's and tons of music. You can go on the rides (there are no fast passes so you'll have to stand in line). Stay off of the water rides where you get wet... it gets pretty cold at nite. Take a jacket and follow the dress code rules Disney gave your school. Don't miss the show that is displayed on the castle (find out the times from a park worker or a pamphlet)... it is full of 2007 memories and you'll really like it. Get there early to get a seat on the ground!!!

Most of all - have fun, but keep within the park rules and regulations as outlined... the last thing you want to do is jeopardize your fun nite or the future of your school's ability to attend!!!

I went back in 1999 to Grad Nite at Disneyland. Was one of my favorite high school memories, still is too this day. They gave everyone a free souvenier photo with a character, but I found out that you have to get the photo taken early, or not many characters were out. I was bummed that I missed Mickey Mouse in his graduation costume. Ended up with Winnie The Pooh, gave photo to mom, a Winnie The Pooh fan, she loved it.

Things that made it extra special for me, I took spending money to buy souveniers. I purchased a Grad Nite 99 Sweatshirt I still have to this day, and a Grad Nite key chain. If you want one souvenier and don't have a lot of money, go for the key chain, or any of the graduation beanies, they have the year on them, most of the time, and are great life long memorabilia items you will cherish for years to come.

Tips: Follow all of the dress code rules or they won't let you in; take a sweater or jacket that you can put over your good clothes and still look nice; we went on Splash Mountain early, and walking around in a dress wet the rest of the night wasn't fun, but the ride sure was; stayed with some close friends, and went on most of the rides; we avoided the clubs, but a lot of people went to them and had a blast; also make sure you arrive on a school bus or they don't let you in if you take a private car.

We hit the popular rides early on, and they were not too crowded. The place was packed though, it's not just kids from California, it's kids from all over the country. It's a great night. You stay up all night, are exhausted the next day, and hopefully you don't have to get up early for graduation ceremonies and other things the next day like we did.

yeah, i worked it last year. this year they're having the fray, cartel, cassie, and mario vazquez. last year they had fall out boy and simple plan. umm.....just don't act stupid and get kicked out. that's happened before. some guys thought i'd be funny to beat the characters. yeah, they didn't get to graduate either did the ones who hid pot in their clothes or the ones who thought it be cool to run around backstage with security chasing after them. just because the whole park is full of seniors doesn't mean u can do whatever u want. just have fun with your friends and stay out of trouble. go on as many rides as u can. i think most of the main rides will be open, like space mountain, thunder, pirates, etc. and take lots of pictures with the characters! they'll be in their graduation gowns.
