I'm thinking of hiring an attorney for an auto accident. His title is a "PA" What exactly does that mean? Is he a fully licensed attorney? Or a parralegal?

PA means Professional Association

PA stands for Private Attorney.

The PA designation can also be for a physician assistant credential - if he practices in personal injury or medical malpractice, a great many lawyers have a medical background in addition to their law degrees. Ask him - I've been in law for 25 years and have never seen any lawyer call him/herself a "private attorney."
