they seem to have decent clubs & a decent league but can't pull off the big prize.
could they have jinks them selves,i have a theory.

Spain has a decent league in part cuz of all the foreign players that come play within the league. They've never been able to win a World Cup cuz of the competition. With countries such as France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Portugal and several others, you may know things along the way won't be that simple. Nevertheless, Spain is a good national team.

they do have decent clubs but look at the players..most of those who are responsible for the glory of the club arenot spanish like forexample in barca there is deco ronaldinho marquez messi zambrotta and non of them are spanish..Real Madrid is the same..Roberto Carlos..Ronaldo Robinho Cannavaro Ruud Van Nistelrooy..and many others..On the otherhand ..the English premier league has alot of English players but still the same problem: weak international team..
the problem is not with the players..it is with the coaching ..if the coach understand the players..they will succeed
if they get a good coach for spain who will understand the formation of the players ..they will be able to win a world cup or may be more

they can win the WC, but the real reason why Spain isnt winning the WC is because there's no unity between the players..Spanish players are very devoted to their clubs, so for example a player from Barcelona hates players from Valencia..but i can see the teamwork increasing from the last 2 matches in the 2008 qulaifying matches...Spain always has the good players and they have good plays, but the only element needed is teamwork.

Because they need to have a 2 hour siesta....This comes in the way of World Cup preparation.

i just think they are inconsistent. thats all. there are tons of great countries with great players who have never won a world cup either....but its true that when i think of the big countries with the best players i think of brasil, argentina, italy, france, germany, spain, and even england....and spain is the only one of those that has never won a world cup. sad.

It seems is always the same hand full of teams that wins the WC. With the exception of France with their lone star and England with theirs.

because Spain is one of those country who only reach semifinal or final and get beaten, over hap, the same reason why England has not since many many many years ago.
