With many things in life, going slower actually ends up taking less time.
For example, in the past I've always made it a point to visit my auto shops on a regular (daily, or close to it) basis. One of the hardest things in this business is keeping the newer techs from getting too big headed and working too fast. They make more mistakes which in the long run slows them down.
In the event that a point needs to be proven I'll first bait them into shooting off at the mouth about how fast they work, which always seems to be faster than an old timer like me. Now they have to put up or shut up. So the service manager will make it a point to schedule similar jobs on similar cars for the same day at the same time. Newbie will get one and I'll get the other. He even gets to pick.
They work so fast trying to prevail that I get tired just watching them. Slowly (relatively speaking), methodically, making every movement count I get to work. I'll stop and drink a soda. Guess who always has the job completed (including test drive and paperwork) first? That's right. Lesson taught if they chose to learn it. If not, they get the opportunity to work fast somewhere else.
Try taking your time, you might not finish 5 questions, but the ones you finish will be done correctly.

Then don't go too fast. Do it step by step making sure you do everything right. Be sure and precise with your answers. Well for me, it's better to have all of what you answered correct than being able to answer everything but having too many mistakes. This can also impress you teacher/professor that even though you didn't answer everything, all of what you answered are all correct so if you weren't time pressured then you can answer everything correctly.

just slow down...wouldn't you rather finish 55 problems correctly and not get to the last 5 by the time runs out, than finish all of the problems, but get half of them wrong? Thing about it.

Well, your adrenaline seems to be too high. Slow down so that you don't make mistakes. Any addiction is bad.
