Oh man I don't know where to start - most of my CD collection is film soundtracks. Depends what kind of music you like, and if you want compilations of songs or original scores, or a mix of both. Here are some of my faves:
Rock music - School of Rock, The Matrix (esp the first one which was all rock, the second was a mixture of tracks and score, the third was all score) Oh and Highlander if you like Queen.
Original scores - can't beat The Lord of the Rings soundtracks, my fave ever. Amazing composition. I also like the Pirates soundtracks although SOME people say one of the main themes is ripped off Gladiator. I like the third Harry Potter soundtrack - a pretty eclectic mix, including jazz, unlike the first two John Williams ones
Any of Quentin Tarantino's film soundtracks - I'm not that crazy about him or his films (except Kill Bill) but the man in NUMBER ONE for choosing the right tune for the moment. I don't know where he gets his choices from, but they're the best.
The first film soundtrack I bought was actually Austin Powers (heh heh). Listen right, that CD has a great selection of songs on it!

If you're talking about a true soundtrack, the music written to accompahy the movie, then there's always Star Wars
If you mean a bunch of songs in the movie, check out Clueless or Empire Records.

It depends on what kind of music exactly your looking for. If your looking for some drama yet creative, i think Disturbia will do.
