No. Fans are more fickle than that. Beatles are famous people from a long time ago.

Well,. since John and George are dead , they wouldn't qualify as the "most famous people today" As far as the most famous living muscian, Paul McCartney would probably be in the top 10 along with B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Prince, and Mick Jagger.

Music is always changing.
Famous people are always changing.
Paris Hilton was famous yesterday - not so famous today. Look at Lily Allen now and Hilary Duff and her newfound 'adulthood'.
You can be famous - then not - then famous again in a matter of 20 minutes.

That depends on who you ask. If you ask older people who grew up listening to them, then the answer is most likely higher than if you were to ask people of a much younger generation. Plus you've got to keep in mind that the Beatles haven't recorded anything in more than 35 years. Not to mention that two are now dead.

They are famous, but not the most famous.
However,
If you erased every Beatles record,CD,music book etc etc, Ten years from now people would still be singing their songs. Not many musicians can say that.

Still famous,but not as famous as before.Famous for people who knew them from that Beatlemania era and for people who digs their music still,may it be old or young.But in any given time,I think,hmmm-I'd like to believe they will still be remembered!Musical legends,thats what THe Beatles are.LI love them!

I don't think so. I would say if ur going for old most famous it would be elvis. But I mean that would be it.
