What do you do if your muscles are weak? Exercise! Learning multiplication tables is boring, but spend the time now and you save lots of time later. Don't settle for mechanical rules for dealing with fractions and algebra. Learn what is going on behind the rules. Try some word problems to help you think and solve problems. I'm twice as old as my sister, who is 5 years younger than I. How old am I? Don't be afraid to ask for help, even among your friends. Gravitate toward those who give you meaningful answers that help you understand.

There's nothing to worry about. Fact is that math is very simple when you think about it more carefully. Usually, people are intimidated with formulas and Greek symbols. Think about math as another way of saying things you want to say. Think about it as another language you are learning to express your ideas. If this seems a bit difficult, roots of such problem may be the fact that you need to read more literature and learn more about your native language before trying to express your ideas in the mathematical language.

at first, you need to learn how to "love" or to have "interests on" maths.
This is not joking.
If you do not like maths at the very beginning, no matter how many questions you do and how many formula you remember, this is just a homework/assignment.
If you do not have the motivation to think and go into the deepest skin of maths, you will give back all your practice and work to the book.
At least, you need to keep a "normal" heart to learn maths, and then try to trust yourself you can manage this, later on, you will find yourself totally different in maths.
