can someone help me and give me a reason for there answer plz

Yes! J. Edgar Hoover was a bigot who considered M. L. King Jr. a trouble making rabble-rouser, and a threat to the status quo. He had his agency create a dossier on King and gather evidence of his activities. both public and personal, which he thought could be used to control his behavior. It's funny that Hoover was so down on individuals who he felt were "unconventional," because it was revealed after Hoover's death that he had a few peccadilloes in his own closet, like the fact that he was a homosexual with a penchant for cross-dressing.
