The planet is about 20 light years away, radio waves travel at the speed of light! The planet is getting our T.V. signals from early 1987!

The planet is only 20 lightyears away, not 143. So by now, approximatley, they are receving tv signals from earth that would have been broadcast around 1969-70.

It is 149 light years away. Since those 1970's TV signals travel at the speed of light they won't get there for another 112 years. Check back after that time and repost the question.

Its actually only 20.5 light years away. That would be hilarious if we shaped the culture of their entire civilization by them watching 70's movies/tv...Lol. I doubt that we have, but it would b funny nonetheless. What if they elect John Travolta from Saturday Night Fever for President....or maybe Michael Corleone....Lol...Who knows?

Ha Ha, good one, not!! No, I doubt it, the atmosphere there is much different from here so in all probability a very different type of life--if there is any-- wound have developed.
