We recently went to Donut King and they had run out of cinamon donuts. We went to Macdonalds and they had run out of soft serve icecream. Have you ever gone to order something you would expected a restaurant to have only to be told they had run out?

I used to work at a wendy's when i was in HS,...we ran out of fries and buns before (had to borrow some from the sonic across the street).

we also ran out of chili beans to make the chili with and for like a day had chili with no beans.

it's not weird or uncommon. the restaurants only get a certain amount of supplies and only get shipments every few days. if there is a higher volume of customers than expected, then they may run out of some things before the next delivery.

Went into panera bread for dinner at about 7:50. They close at 9pm. We ordered some sandwiches and were informed that they had shut off the panera grills. So we could only order anything that was not grilled.

A McDonald's that runs out of french fries. Or any fast food place that runs out of CO2 for carbonated beverages.

I went to a Taco Bell drive-thru once and when I pulled up to the speaker the guy says "Welcome to Taco Bell. We are all out of tortillas and taco shells." !!!! Why they were even open then is a mystery to me- You could pretty much only order nachos or soda or those little cinnamon things.
