I have pretty fair skin. Would anything horrible happen if I used the kind for medium skin tones?

It shouldn't make too much of a difference, but I use the kind for light skin tones, and I think it works wonders. Just make sure it's even and especially avoid putting too much on your elbows, knees, and ankles, because those areas tend to get much darker. Also, I reccomend buying the face tanning lotion too, because your face will be much lighter, especially if you use the medium skin toned one.

No, just don't put on too much at once cos it's a bit darker than your natural skin tone and it might look a bit weird for you to go from being so light to so tan so quickly.

I am light complected and use the medium skin tone one, it just makes me appear a little orange....I don't know if its the product or because I am using the wrong tone for my skin type.

no. it does work just make sure you get the one that is slightly darker than ur skin color, it works fast so make sure its on evenly and on ur neck, u might want to get the same kind but for ur body so its even all over! I use it, it does make u look darker than u are!
