ladies do you prefer a clutch bag or a shoulder bag or short handled bag?

I like to throw mine over my shoulder especially when im out dancing.Keeps it safe.

Shoulder bag definitely as ive left my bag on the bus a few times, this way i know where it is!

For me it really depends on the event or occasion. Most of the time I am a shoulder bag girl all the way. The handles are just big enough for me to slip my arm through and tuck up under my arm. The only time I break out a clutch is going out to a really nice upscale restaurant, or a really nice cocktail lounge where I know I won't be dancing (which I rarely do anyways). Otherwise a clutch is to much work. Always making sure you don't just put it down somewhere.

It depends on where I am. Out to dinner: a clutch. Around during the day: I like short-handled bags. I typically don't use shoulder bags.

I like shoulder bags because I need to keep my hands free. I know what you mean about the saftey. I have a few clutches and short handled bags but I am kind of afraid to use them outside. I don't know how some women just seem so carefree with those kinds of bags. I always feel like someone is going to grab it and keep running!

Me, too! Shoulder bag every time!. Clutch bag I'd put down somewhere and lose in about five minutes flat (wouldn't remember where I'd left it), short handled bags leave you short-handed - I like to keep both of mine free for whatever it is I'm doing.

I like a short handled shoulder bag coz then the zip is tucked right under my arm and nobody can get to it. I do think that clutch bags are really cute though, I just don't trust myself with one as I have a habit of putting things down then forgetting to pick them up again! :-)

Depends on the event, usually I prefer a clutch and shoulder bag because they are simple to carry around.

Depends where I am and what I'm doing.

Short handled shoulder bag in the evening for the reason you mentioned.
Long strapped shoulder bag in the day.

Clutch bags are irritating.

I prefer the short handled ones unless I am doing as you do and want me arms and hands free than a strap is in need. I don't like clutch I would leave them somewhere or it would annoy me to always have my hand(s) tied up "holding the bag"

I like a short handled shoulder bag. They have some really cute ones too! Your right it does feel safer when its over your shoulder it would be harder for someone to take it!
