Apparently my Uncle got a hold of some really expensive Italian shoes for almost nothing, and wanted to give them to me. I really don't know what they are, but I want to let him know that I really appreciate it and I don't want him to think that I don't.

Rene Caovilla makes very expensive shoes that are consistently above $1000
Manolo Blahnik shoes are usually in the high hundreds range, though i do remember seeing some slingbacks priced at $2000.
Sergio Rossi boots cost about $1000
Other premier designer (like the others said, gucci, valentino, dolce & gabbana, prada, bottega veneta etc) can also make boots easily at $1000, though sandals usually are in the mid-high hundreds range.
but yeah, i think the two heavy hitters would be manolo blahnik and rene caovilla
