I don't believe in conspiracy theories and I certainly don't believe our own government had anything to do with the attacks. That's just idiotic to even think so, nobody gained from it (Asia's increased consumption has affected oil prices more than Iraq; and Bush's original foreign policy was directed at China, not the Middle East. He not bright, but he's not malicious either), but I still have a question.
How did the piolet find their targets? I'm sure you can't change the flight path to Manhattan. But, really, I have no idea about flying, so it could be possible. Is it quite easy to change destinations or did they drop elevation and follow the land by landmarks? I have no idea about flying, so please help explain.

Pilots have compete control of their aircraft. No one can stop them except by shooting them down.

It was a clear, dry day & visibility was tops. All the pilot had to do was just follow large landmarks until they reached a gigantic landmark (NYC & the towers). One pilot just flew down the Hudson river, easy to do. Unfortunately, it was easy as pie.

Don't listen to the conspiracy crackpots. As you said, their ideas are idiotic.

Addendum: Also, the terrorists turned off the planes' transponders. This prevented the control towers from knowing where they were except by ground radar & direct
sighting.

I agree 100% that we should not blindly accept anything about this monumental historic event without good reason, including forensics and eye witness accounts of the attack.

If you "don't believe in conspiracy theories" then you shouldn't believe in the weak conspiracy theory put forward by our government and propagated by our media because the truth is not represented by the 9/11 Commission Report. It has many serious errors and omissions that you can verify without much effort.

If this version was at all credible, there would not be so many other stories about the 9/11 attack that seem more reasonable. It's obvious to the engineers who I know that those three buildings did not collapse and disintegrate from a collision with two aircrafts. Those buildings were demolished as was stated by physics Professor Steven Jones of BYU.

Part of the issue with the government's conspiracy theory is that the pilot trainees were very inexperienced and it would be very difficult for them to navigate and maneuver the planes to impact the towers as they did.

Could there have been some guidance system used? We may never know the precise guidance mechanism used in these events.

You don't believe in conspiracy because the corporate media has convinced you by their dominance and repetition to not believe in conspiracy. But this comes in spite of the fact that history is filled with conspiracies. Many people are arrested, charged and convicted of conspiracy every year.
