Be wary of anyone who tries to charge you to teach you!
Rather than just one teacher, get opinions from lots of wiccans.
This site has many helpful wiccans who will be very happy to help you on your path. Including myself. Just send me an email, and i will do my best to answer any questions.

Sorry to say but I would be wary of any that would. There are some willing to do so for the wrong reasons and those can be dangerous for you.

The reason most Wiccan groups wait until a person is 18 to teach is simple. Until then you are considered under the care of your parents/guardians and they can put a mass of law suits against someone who attempts to teach a religion they disagree with to those children. Lawsuits can easily take more time and money than it is worth to teach someone under age.

Either read everything you can get your hands on and wait until you are 18 or talk to your parents and look for a teacher together. My suggestion is to get parental permission and look up a local group willing to teach through http://www.witchvox.com . I know personally my coven is willing to teach those under 18, but only with a parent/guardian present to sign a permission slip saying so. Seeking a teacher is not always an easy thing, and should be done with a great deal of care.

If your parents are completely against the idea then simply wait until the 18th birthday and seek again then. Don't take everyone completely at their word about experience and compare notes between books. There is more than one way of doing things and no one right way unless it is the way that works best for you.

You can be Wiccan. But you can't practice or join a group without your parent's consent under the age of 18. Not to mention, most people won't take you seriously. Sorry, but it's true. It's "cool" for young people to be Wiccan, so they study Silver's books, never learn anything about real Wicca, call themselves Wiccan and then they get bored and find something else to be hip with. This does a disservice to serious young Wiccans, but it's in many case accurate, so the stereotype remains. If you're serious, keep studying and don't give up.

I'd rather tell you to email me and maybe I can help you out, but that is up to you. There are too many bashers here for me to give you a straight answer, I am tired of all the spam and hate mail when I give true answers. I would have e-mailed you, but you don't allow it, so I couldn't. Just so it is known, I am a free practicing witch, I don't say Wiccan because I have strayed from that path and follow my own, but I was for a very long time, involved in a coven, and have been currently seeking a student. So feel free to contact me, ok?

Blessed be.

Hate to tell you but none. It's not allowed without parent permission and even the online stuff you have to look out for. Most local stores offer some type of workshop for beginners. They are reasonably priced and your parents can go in with you.

Witchschool.com is a good place to learn wicca. They have some really good classes there including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree courses. Some are free, some you have to be a supporter for. I have taken a number of classes there and they're all good.

The only thing I would have to say is you probably need parental ok before doing that sort of thing, if you are still living at home that is.

Personally, the best thing to do is to Yahoo or Google Search for "FREE WICCAN COURSES".

there is nothing that doesn't cost money sweetie, if you want to learn basic religious rituals or about the rligion in general just do a generic search for wicca or witchcraft. or if your allowed and your parents are open minded i suggest you buy a book called "teen witch" by silver ravenwolf i bought it for my daughter and it is a good starter book.
