President Bush is more like Winston Churchill and is a leader of the freedom loving people of the world. Hitler was more like Nancy Pelosi, corrupting the government of the government of the people he/she was elected to serve in order to acquire personal power at any cost to their nation.
Your comparison is a good one as it is like a comparison between good and evil between a disciple of God and a disciple of Satan a total opposite and adversarial polarity.

The first thing that comes to mind is Godwin's law... a flame war ends when someone has to make a comparison to Hitler or Nazis, with that person losing the argument. When facts and lucid arguments won't suffice, just resort to Third Reich comparisons!

Although i despise what Hitler did, he was genius in a way because he was able to convince and change the mentality of an entire country into believing something which was completely absurd and preposterous.
Bush also has ludicrous ideals but still hasn´t been able to convience anyone but himself and a few others that that is right. Most people can still see that what he does is wrong.

Lets see... Hitler wanted to rule the world and kill all non-Aryans to cleanse the world of all the "brown people"... Hitler gassed millions of people...
Bush on the other hand is trying to spread freedom and democracy around the world and end tyranny and terrorism to make the world a safer place for everyone, black, white, brown and yellow....

Instead of comparing MEN why not compare POLICIES... it took a lot more than "hitler" to do things in germany and it takes a lot more than US PRESIDENT to do things in USA.
I think we have to more closely examine WHO IS CARRYING out some of the orders handed down....
