My take is that the Democrats and Republicans are basically the same sniveling lying conservative nerds, but the Democrats talk up populism without really doing very much to help the lower and middle class citizens that they are allegedly trying to help.

Essentially, both parties have voted to support the war and both parties have voted to shred the Bill of Rights. Essentially, if you have the money to buy a lawyer, you have civil rights. Otherwise, you might as well live in a third-world country under a despicable dictator.

One would get the impression that both parties are essentially the same. The only difference being that Republicans and Democrats are divided on how best to squander our money.

Republicans generally believe morality has no borders. IE war with Iraq and anti-abortion.

Democrats believe morality starts and stays at home. IE anti-war and the right to abortion
