the ratio between Na and Cl2 is 2 :1 so Na is the limiting reactant

the ratio between Na and NaCl is 2 : 2 so will be produced 5.00 moles NaCl

The balanced reaction is 2 Na + Cl2 --> 2 NaCl

As sodium is the limiting reactant, only 5 moles of NaCl could be produced.
