Of course, every coin has two sides and both are vital points of consideration prior to a given decision!

Oh, there are two or more sides to every story, but there's only one Truth.
Now, on 9/11, I haven't done extensive research, but I have thought about the matter logically.
Now, for the Bush Administration to have done this, we'd have to conclude that they are better at keeping this conspiracy a secret than Clinton was at keeping his private sexual encounters secret. I find this unlikely.
On the other hand, if Islamic terrorists did it, we don't need to look far for other examples of similar behavior, we don't need to look far for instances of them taking credit, and we don't have to speculate as to motives.
So, what about the "evidence" of a controlled demolition? The "evidence" is conclusory, not conclusive. It comes in the form of statements that "buildings just don't fall like that". Well, if the building is supported by a central core, that's probably true, but these were supported at the corners, and when such a building collapses, it falls precisely like that.
We have foreign Islamic terrorists taking flight lessons, getting on a plane, and driving them into buildings. Where is there any such connection between the US government and them? Just because it happened? You'd have to be an IDIOT to think that the US government is efficient enough to have prevented this in the pre-9/11 mentality and therefore concluded that they deliberately allowed it or planned it. Did I say "idiot"? Yes, I did.
You want to do REAL research on the Patriot Act? Just read it. I'll save you some trouble, you can't. You'll have to print it out, and take it to a Law Library and check the cross references to find out just what it says, it is IMPOSSIBLE to know what it means just from the Act itself. That's MY problem with it, it's unreadable for most of the people out there crying about how it gives the government too ability to do domestic spying. It actually doesn't give them much more than they already have in absence of the Act, but it's unintelligible for most people, which I have issues with.
But you'll probably find it easier to just look for sites that will tell you what they want you to think is in it, so go ahead and be a stooge.

If it's an issue which features two rational sides, I certainly do.
If it's an issue about which the other side is simply full of hot air, like the irrational desire of the left to tax the living bejeezus out of the so-called "rich", then I simply shrug my shoulders and write it off to class envy.

I've looked at your side. I've looked at my side. My side makes more sense, plus it actually has that little factor called "reality".

Being open minded is good, but don't go so far your brain falls out. Then you would become a communist.
