I bought a baby red ear slider about 3-4 months ago but now when I feed it correct and have right lightning conditions, the lines on its shell,which used to be green,are turning grayish blackish color and her shell getting thicker.Please help! =(

This is normal. As turtles age, they sometimes get darker, gaining this blacker color. It depends on the age of your turtle and it's size but this is a fairly normal occurance and nothing to worry about. If the shell is getting thicker all around then it's nothing to worry about. If it's only getting thicker in certain spots it's either a fungus or shell rot which are both fairly simple to fix. If you're really worried about it, take it to an exotic pet vet.

Definitley no longer a purple eared slider. probable a chicken turtle. the two way, look after it as though it became right into a slider. be sure you supply it a basking lamp (warmth lamp) and a UVB fluorescent bulb. additionally a heater for the water too...

This is reasonably normal- they loose that pretty bright color as they get older.

just to be safe i suggest than any shell issues be directed to your vet. a lot of questions can be answered on the phone by the tech.
