It has definately dampered everyone's wallet, if not so extreme as bill money, it has at least affected their spending money.

It used to be so simple to just fill up at the pumps, but now I notice many people just paying about 1/4-1/2 a tank because obviously it is affecting their finances. It is really depressing when you think about it.

It has affected the travel industry HEAVILY as well. Try to buy a plane ticket or a Greyhound Bus fare and you're going to see a big increase in price, because they are covering the fuel taxes. So yes it's hurting the leisure industry, thus it hurts your fun time money.

Something has to change and change fast or else it's going to hit a point where people simply will not be able to drive unless it's ABSOLUTELY necessary, meaning a dire emergency. The way the gas has climbed , I wouldn't be shocked to see increases in bicycles and scooters, much like people in large metro areas such as NYC , LA and London.

Oh my word, those damn gas prices!! Over here regular gas sprouted up to a weeping $3.07 (mind you, like a day ago it was $2.95, they just keep creeping the prices up) My full tank of gas is gone in like 5 days, it's ridiculous.

I'm certainly rethinking my vacation plans.
Unfortunately, I can't drive less for work, so I am stuck paying it. Of course my work "gas allowance" hasn't gone up. So it is cutting into my fun money.

yes , they're $3 a gallon here and it's really hurting me . I use my credit card to buy gas because I can't afford it other wise.
