For starters, you should get used to it. For every one thing you do that gets appreciated, nineteen things go unnoticed. That's just life. Assuming you actually do things that deserve appreciation, the best thing to do is to just go on not expecting it. If you don't like being let down, then never have high expectations or get your hopes up on anything. The worst thing that can come of this is that you were right. I'm not saying always assume the worst, but keep it in the back of your mind. The less you take for granted the more you receive. Back to appreciation, you really shouldn't look for appreciation anyway. If you really deserve it, it will come to you. And after the times that you believe you should get it, just step back and look at the situation. Most of the time you should let it go, but don't let people walk all over you. Be professional and it will be rewarding. Promise.

Don't worry Angel, we all like you here.
some people just don't realise the effort some people put in, that makes all the good things happen.
Until those people don't or can't do all the little things that make the world go round - then they get noticed
I'm sure they must appreciate you. SHOUT MORE!!!
be noticed -

I would say to make yourself rarer...
a good increases (appreciates) in value as it becomes rarer.
And let's face it, you are quite a good!
Having said that... please don't make yourself rarer!
The Y!A stockmarket might crash... world chaos might ensue!
Another depression... and it'll be all YOUR fault!
:-) Peace
