Well I'm not in school, and I'm job hunting ... so whatever I read is for my own enjoyment and no one elses ...
Currently, I'm quite pathetically addicted to those crappy books by Laurell K. Hamilton and I read those everyday. Siiighh...
I generally love Fantasy novels, though. Long, beautifully articulated fantasy novels ... Terry Goodkind being my favourite! Ooooh, good stuff.
And classic literature is always a good place to turn to! :)

I like the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series....really anything I can find in the teen section in the library. I have just started reading Anna Karenina too and I really enjoy it.
Right now i'm reading a book called 'I am the messenger' by Mark Zusak and it's really good. It's about this young man who is sent by someone unknown to do all kinds of things for people.

I read fiction, mainly thrillers. I also enjoy thought provoking novels. My new favorite author is Jodi Picoult. She writes in such a way as to make you almost feel sorry for the "bad" characters. The only non-fiction I read is Ann Rule. She takes real high profile criminal cases and examines/discusses them.

When I was in school I read a lot of Nancy Drew mysteries. Now, many years later, I just read cookbooks or books on sociological perspectives on food, or food history. I just cannot read fiction anymore.

I haven't gone to school in a long time but I read books by S. King and the Bible. That's about it. Strange combo, huh?

It depends on what mood i am in, sometimes a nice romantic bk and a warm fire is gd enough, but if i have had a bad day i lyk a scary bk, tucked up in bed with a hot drink, till i fall asleep.
