Is it normal to be almost 13 weeks pregnant and not feel any hardening of the uterus through my stomach. I tried to feel last night while i laid down and it's still mushy and soft. I know the baby is in there and is ok from the sonograms, but, i was just wondering if it was normal not to have any kind of hardness yet.

Yes it perfectly normal!!! Your baby is still just a lil peanut! haha Your uterus is probably still way to low to feel. It doesn't raise above your pelvic bone until your about 20 weeks pregnant ( i think!!! I could be wrong!)

If you feel VERY VERY VERY low like..right above your pelvic bone...you might be able to feel a little bit of something but most likely not. Just be patient..soon enough your going to be longing for that baby to be that small again. haha Good luck and congrats on your baby!

It's normal because you're still pretty small. Also the uterus starts to harden after 20 weeks when some women get braxton-hicks contractions.

yes very normal since you've just entered your second trimester! You will not feel it start to harden til about 20-30 weeks, so enjoy all this energy you have while you can cause the last trimester isn't fun!! Good luck :)

Yup, especially if it is your first. My OB explained to me that with first pregnancies that the uterus is lower in the pelvic cavity for longer and rises after you are in the 2nd trimester. I worried about this too.

Yes, it's normal. That baby is the size of a pea, or maybe not even that big yet. It'll happen.
