One of my dogs sleeps in my room at night, and one morning when my alarm clock went off I hit the snooze button by accident. I went and took my shower, but when I came out I heard my alarm ringing again. I went to shut it off but as I headed down to the bedroom the sound started to diminish. Thinking that was kind of weird I headed to the living room, and here comes my dog from around the chair with the most pathetic look on her face and her mouth ringing. She had the clock in her mouth and as soon as I put my hand down she dropped the clock in it and then trotted down the hall to go back to bed.

Where to begin!
I used to let my hamster run around in the hall because there was nowhere for her to escape to. Once I couldn't find her anywhere and was just starting to think she'd evaporated when I saw the floor length hall curtain swinging - she was clinging to the top of it right by the ceiling, her little legs splayed out. Mummy had to rescue her quick! A little mouse of mine also needed rescuing when he climbed up my clock radio wire and didn't know what to do when he reached the wire - he just clung on like it was a rope with his little tail twirling around like a propellor. That's the same mouse who used to curl up on my beanbag in the middle of my room to sleep - and I had a nap with him napping next to me on my pillow. Mr Jingles was as legendary as the mouse in the film.
My friend has a 70kg (155lb) rottie - he isn't even fat he's just ENORMOUS, and a bit of a baby. The other day she was walking him through an alley behind some houses and he starting sniffing a garden fence. A little yorkie in the garden broke out into a volley of yaps and he nearly leapt straight into my friend's arms - she said the look on his face seemed to say 'mummy why's that fence barking at me?!'

I was walking my dog Ryleigh at night. It was early winter and earlier that day we finally got a good amount of packing snow. Of course the neighborhood children built a snowman right next to the sidewalk.
Now, Ryleigh and I are still working on the whole walking on a leash thing. She is always pulling and trying to lead the way. We got within 20 ft of the snowman and she started to drop behind me. Ryleigh would peek around my legs to catch glimpses of the snowman.
At about 10 ft away, Ryleigh stopped moving. She absolutely refused to get any closer. I was talking to her trying to reassure her, but she wasn't having it. I dragged her closer and closer to the snowman. I eventually ended up bent at an awkward angle holding on to my dog with one hand and patting the snowman with the other. I said "Its made of water. Can't you smell it? Its a nice snowman."
I ended up having to pick her up and carry her past the snowman. On our return trip she walked right past the snowman with no problems. Ryleigh is such a funny dog. I am just glad that it was late at night so no one was around to see me patting the snowman and talking to the dog.
