Why not when filling out the form just put down never married . There's no way Canada is going to take the time money or effort to check it out . But if you ever divorce and try to get anything from the guy he can always fall back on that and state that you never divorced you husband making the divorce illegal and you would be untitled to nothing and possible jail time

Um i'm not canadian but i have a good feeling that you can't, its called bigamy and you can go to prison for it, get a divorce if you wana marry him...and he should really know what the law is in his country!!!

Has he proposed to you? Does he know that you're married? You need to be more than separated. If you are still legally married, you need to attain a legal divorce before you marry another.
