More than likely you now own a nice paper weight.

Pull the muffler of the engine and look at the side of the piston, and the cylinder wall.

You probably have a bunch of scoring marks on both and it won't hold compression.

There is NOTHING you can do short of replacing the piston, and cylinder.

the question is did you run it after you put the reg in there for any length of time ? or did you put reg and now it wont start? if you ran it till it quit prob toast now. if you didnt run it thats not your problem
