I've heard Libs, almost in the same breath, say they hope we get attacked again to prove that Bush isn't doing a good job, and then turn around and say there is no real war on terrorism. It's just Bush trying to scare us.
Have you noticed the Liberal media is practically ignoring the huge plot that the Saudi's foiled? The media doesn't want to give it coverage because it proves the extent of the terrorist network.
So, if we have no terrorist attacks, they seethe with anger and resentment because Bush is doing a good job. Therefore, they now spout the crazy notion that the "war on terror" is just a Conservative fabrication. Every time there is a news story about intercepted intelligence regarding a new planned attack, Libs say it's just scare tactics. However, if we suffer another terrorist attack, it will make people realize that the only conscientious guardians of our safety are Conservatives, so, on the one hand they hate that scenario.
Liberals don't know what is best. Attack or no attack, they always come up short.

not a liberal, but you answered to some extent. who knows re the anthrax attacks? who knows re the recent contamination of water in Mass? who knows about smaller (compared to 911) attacks? who knows whether these and other 'small attacks' were just plain dry runs. It's rather silly to assume that liberals 'can't stand the thought that' -- have to correct you here - the UNITED STATES (not America) 'has had no terrorist attacks since 9/11.' Thus, your claim actually proves nothing.
============
and the poster below is correct. The 'promises' made by so-called terrorists refer to "US interests" with reference to WHERE they strike. Again, your claim actually proves nothing.

Where did all the Anthrax come from????
I also contend that the Va Tech shootings were an act of terror. Simply because, when NBC showed the for the first time, clips from the shooter's video he said, and I quote......
"I am doing this for all of my brothers and sisters that you (US) have f#cked over."
I know that the Bushco people could not let this be known so this clip was shown one time only. To admit that this was actually an act of terror would be admitting that their war on terror was not succeeding on the home front.
We don't want Bush's failure but, it has been thrust upon us.

If Clinton had retaliated against the towers attack in 1993, the Cole and African embassy, we wouldn't have had a 911 attack. He let the terrorists attack us and that just made them bolder. The question was, America has had NO terrorist attacks since 911, and we haven't! [map needs to read questions more carefully].

there's a narrative with regard to the tape that became into mailed to Al Jazeera. The tape shows the hijackers, who the tape claims to be the hijackers, at bin weighted down's camp in Kandahar. They have been taped at bin weighted down's camp making statements approximately their martyrdom in the previous the holiday. They have been taped at bin weighted down's camp looking over flight manuals. those have been superimposed over photos of the destruction of 11th of September. Bin weighted down by no skill formally claimed accountability for the assaults by using fact he did no longer want to grow to be a international criminal. The Al Qaeda cellular got here to him searching for backing. even nevertheless, who tapes themselves making plans a terrorist attack. no longer enormously intelligent. i don't be attentive to. There are theories that the assaults of 9/11 have been developed via Bush and his administration and all styles of different innovations obtainable. So basically be careful of what you notice, have self assurance, and what ought to truly be data.

I'll tell you what. I'll make a deal with you. I will sing Bush's praises for keeping us safe for 5 and a half years as soon as you give Clinton credit for keeping us safe for nearly 8 years.
And please, don't bring up the Cole or the African embassy's. If you do then I'll have to bring up:
2002
June 14, Karachi, Pakistan: bomb exploded outside American consulate in Karachi, Pakistan, killing 12. Linked to al-Qaeda.
2003
May 12, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: suicide bombers killed 34, including 8 Americans, at housing compounds for Westerners. Al-Qaeda suspected.
2004
May 29–31, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: terrorists attack the offices of a Saudi oil company in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, take foreign oil workers hostage in a nearby residential compound, leaving 22 people dead including one American.
June 11–19, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: terrorists kidnap and execute Paul Johnson Jr., an American, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 2 other Americans and BBC cameraman killed by gun attacks.
Dec. 6, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: terrorists storm the U.S. consulate, killing 5 consulate employees. 4 terrorists were killed by Saudi security.
2005
Nov. 9, Amman, Jordan: Suicide bombers hit 3 American hotels, Radisson, Grand Hyatt, and Days Inn, in Amman, Jordan, killing 57. Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility.
2006
Sept. 13, Damascus, Syria: an attack by four gunman on the American embassy was foiled.
2007
Jan. 12, Athens, Greece: the U.S. embassy was fired on by an anti-tank missile causing damage but no injuries.

Just think what will happen IF they lax the rules and we get attacked again. Then they will say it's Bush's fault. That he didn't do it right, and blah blah blah. I never would want another attack, but I am curious what would happen. Finger pointing again. Don't you agree. But no, they can't stand it, they really want him to fail, and yet........... Hey map, he probably meant within the US. But I am glad you got that all out there. miserable.

You have a false assumption in your question. No true American, liberal or conservative, is happy when the US is attacked.
Shame on you for trying to score political points with this bogus assumption.
Why do conservatives deny that 9/11 happened on Bush's watch?
