i spend so much money on so much girly things, like magazines, makeup, sunglasses, swimming suits, skincare, haircare, and purses. I just bought myself three bags in the last two months.

i spoil myself way to much and i feel guilty. Should i?
Is this bad?

Why not use some of that money to do something worthwhile for someone else? Find a charity...an animal shelter, childrens center, etc. and donate money or your time. It would nicely balance the time and money you're spending on yourself. It isn't all about you, you know. Besides, helping others really feels good.

I personally think that spoiled is a nasty word. It's true that presently, many kids are over pampered and this can indeed "spoil" them by making them have a more materialistic mindset and taking gifts for granted. But not all kids end up being "spoiled" although they might have all they want. Parents should do their parenting through communication and not through items, but it really all comes down to the kid and what kind of person they are.

Well, I have to agree....it's accessorizing-we're girls-do the math!! LOL. But too much-well,I'm not sure-people may think it's a little-weird-as in-snotty-(which I'm sure your not) It's great to give yourself treatment-and who doesn't want it-right?? So go easy but remember-be yourself and try to give a little me time-but get out in the world with other friends for it-and think about your values. Do I have enough " ching-ching" for all this bling bling?? Don't let you go down with that either. But skin care and taking care of yourself may also become a relation with beauty. So there you go! That's a good thing! Just don't be so depressed-how you are is how you are no matter what so I know you'll follow your heart and be yourself.

I do the exact same thing. I do it to make myself feel glamourous and gorgeous inside. If they make you feel good then blow the money on it. But, if buying clothes, magazines, etc causes you to fall short in some areas I suggest that you try to cut back a little.

We all feel the need to do a little something for ourselves. However, if your pursuit of beauty causes you to focus less on what's INSIDE, cut it off like a dead branch.
