There is no average. You have billionaires mixed with workers that make less than 1,000AED a month. Generally, the average expat can live comfortably with 20,000AED a month depending on what benefits they get. Dubai is expensive, and housing and school costs chew up a good portion of your salary if they aren't already covered. A 3 bedroom apartment will be around 10,000 a month.
