How do I price construction cleanup per square feet?And 2 story homes,and windows inside and out.?

Im starting my own constrution cleaning biz and i dont know where to start.

A lot depends on what you are being asked to clean and if you will be required to haul away a dumpster full of trash. If it is just floors that need cleaned and vacuumed, as well as counters and windows cleaned, then I'd start with 50 cents per square foot. Big showy homes with lots of windows -- especially high windows -- should be charged at a higher rate, as it can be tough getting to some of the windows.

I once cleaned the windows in a big, showy contemporary with lots of glass and it was two days of hard work for two people. We needed ladders and cleaning tools with long poles, and that was just for the windows. I figured it would be an afternoon with a bottle of Windex and a roll of paper towels!
