Oh my god you guys are really stupid. To reply to those who think Kobe is a ball hog, we have to go back to the basics, explaining the roles of each position.

Look, Kobe Bryant is a SHOOTING GUARD. The main idea of a SHOOTING GUARD is to get yourself open for a shot and get it in. That's all you're entitled to do. You can go that extra little bit to pass more and make more assists, but then you wouldn't quite be a pure SHOOTING GUARD. A POINT GUARD is the one who brings the ball up to the front, dribbles around and looks for open team mates. A POINT GUARD should have great dribbling abilities and able to read the game. A POINT GUARD passes to team mates who are open for a shot in order to make assists. The idea of a CENTER is to grab offensive and defensive rebounds and go for the second chance shot if successful for an offensive one. The CENTER is usually used to post up against other players and can act as a screen. The CENTER can also be part of the offense by having the POINT GUARD pass to him/her and then dishing the ball back out to any team mate for an open shot when the opponent starts doubling or tripling up on the CENTER. A SMALL FORWARD are ones who fight for rebounds along with the POWER FORWARD and CENTER. A SMALL FORWARD is usually able to drive in for layups, dunks and do post up plays. A POWER FORWARD is a team's secondary rebounder. They mainly score points on low post and are normally more muscular, though not as tall as the CENTER.

There. The passing job should be done by the POINT GUARD, not the SHOOTING GUARD, so Kobe Bryant is actually doing his job well.

Its funny how Wilt Chamberlain is not consider biggest ball hog ever. He held 6 of the top 10 best scorers before Kobe dropped 81. He score 50+ point like over 40 times in his career and score 40 points like 60 times in his career. He had many season when he average 40 ppg and average 50 ppg one season. Thats ballhog, did he make his team better, no but he is consider one of the best player of all time

Wade will score more and pass less, Lebron James will do so, Paul Pierce would do that too even though he is doing that with the Celtics, AI did it when he was with 76ers and would do it with the lakers, Melo if he in LA he would too, Ray Allen will do that too, Steve Nash if he joins the Lakers he wouldnt get 10 assists everytime because nobody beside Lamar Odom are great finishers, so he will drop over 20 a night. anybody in the top 15 in scorer if they were in Kobes position with the Lakers will do it if they win. Kobe needs someone that average 20 or close to 20 ppg and also have lamar odom. I know almost everybody saying Lakers sucks and shouldnt make playoffs, the reason they are in because of Kobe. Also remeber kobe is shooting guard and a pure shooter. Most pure shooting guards gets less than 5 and have over 20 ppg but kobe is average 5 assists. Kobe is not a Point Guard that is suppose to be playmakers and dishing out assists. Kobe is a shooting guard and average more assists than many starting point guards like Tony Parker for one example. People who second guess and hate on Kobe are mad that Kobe takes up the spotlight and highlights and have more of both than their favorite player. Thats what they hate on kobe of his trial and saying he can buy his wayout from his wife. theres many people that was convicted of a crime and some went to jail, like KG when he was in high school with that 2nd degree lynch.people attack his personal life and have nothing to say on what he do on the court. He is a start, legend, and future hall of fame player. Many people dislike how they take the highlight and spotlight every game because kobe does amazing stuff every game. Kobe could score 181 it would not matter because he does not
have the savy or intellect of say a Jordan. He is still to arrogant, cocky, and doesnt undestand how to make everybody better.
