Yes, the have been well documented. One is even called the Marilyn Monroe passage from the days she would sneak in and out of the White House.

there could be things about the White House that no one knows about. they renovated the outside not so very long ago and found decorative plaster and cement over doors and around windows that had been painted over so many times they disappeared.

I doubt it. When Truman was president they did extensive renovations. Basically they gutted the place, leaving only the outer walls, and rebuild everything on the inside.
