I have no idea what a purdah system is, so I don't hate it. Maybe you want to ask the question in the language/board of people with a purdah system.

The majority of people hate 'purdah system' or veil because it tries to segregate man from woman as if an object ( woman ) were being kept away from lustful eyes (man ). A woman can not be reduced to an OBJECT. A man can not be reduced to LUSTFUL EYES. This simplification ( notwithstanding any religious justification ) hurts the best human sensibilities. That's why people hate veil. Unfortunately, some people defend it as an essential mark of Muslim identity and treat all criticism as an attack on their religious identity.

To force women to wear purdah must be condemned. Everyone has a right to live life with full freedom and happiness, and wear clothes of their choice. Women should have as much right as men, and equality in all things, including clothing within decency limits.
