Why would you make a comment like that? This team is capable of scoring 1000 runs this year. Once their pitching gets squared away they will win it all. They have the best lineup in major league baseball, bar none!!

You're kidding me right? Worst team ever? Excuse me Yankee fan, you never had to sit through the Randy Smith era and watch your beloved Tigers post 2 of the worst seasons in Major League history within 8 years of each other. These teams were so bad that they couldn't even get the record for losing. THEY FAILED AT LOSING. You never watched the 2003 playoffs and noted the 13 Tigers who had been on the team during the Randy Smith era who were either traded or let go only to find greater success on another club. Until you have Randy Smith, you can't even begin to consider the 2007 Yankees the worst team ever. Randy Smith was worse than Matt Millen

NO WAY! If you're going to hate the Yankees, at least know what your saying. They always start off slow. Then they dominate by the end of season. If your basing your facts on the last 6 or 7 Yankees games, I suggest you watch a bit more. Last time I checked, there's a lot more than 7 games in a full season.

No. Last year they started off 8-19 or 9-18, but it was worse anyway. They aren't as bad as a lot of people think so far. Damon was hurt, Posada was hurt, Matsui was hurt. For pitching Mussina, Pavano, and Wang were hurt so they had to pitch kids like Phil Hughes and Chase Wright who probably weren't ready for the Majors. Phil Hughes is 20 years old and Chase Wright's debut was the first time pitching above AA and only his 15th inning above A ball. When the Yankees get 100% healthy they will be amazing. They have one of the best lineups in baseball. Their pitching will come around and with the lineup they have its ok to give up 5-6 runs a night.

NO. Are you crazy. Go look up the stats on the Detroit Tigers or something, cuz those are the worst teams ever. The Yankees are starting off slow, like they did last year, and when they are all clicking, they will once again take first place in the AL East like the previous nine years.

Good heavens, no. It only SEEMS that way because more trees and electrons have died for the idiotic, incessant ranting about a piddly little seven-game losing streak in April than at any other time in baseball history.

The 1899 Cleveland Spiders went 20-134 (.130). The 2007 Yankees are almost halfway to that win total.

I wish !! But we all know Steinbrenner (sp) will throw MORE money at the situation to avoid further humiliation :) and I mean heck..they have just not had things go their way much this year.

Honestly though..I wish I had their offensive lineup on my fantasy team :) Even though Posada is a turtle, Giambi is a greeser , Matsui is well..Matsui , Damon is a traitor and A-Rod and Jeeter are Brokeback Mountain boys :-P Oh yeah and Torre should be fired for being ugly :)

hehe

I would love to say yes, and hope that their record only continues to plummet. Sadly, however, I cannot say that and expect to be taken seriously as it is only a hope.

I think the Yankees are simply starting off slow, and that they will eventually get some of their pitchers back to help make a huge difference. What I hope as well is that they dig a hole too deep for themselves, and Boston takes advantage of it to win the AL East. Then again that is all a hope and a wish as well. We'll see what happens when all their starting pitchers are back.

i think any team that lost 3 starting pitchers and their most clutch hitter to the DL before their 10th game of the season would look like the worst team ever. Luckily there is plenty of time to right the ship.

No...

Yankee fans just expect more. Enjoy the basement of the Al East. Embrace it. I am sure the Yankees will at least pass the Devil Rays to get out of the cellar!!

I hate fairweather fans!!
