What is the difference between the 11th edition and the 11th revised edition.

I accidentally brought the revised one by mistake. I was supposed to buy the 11th edition. I have to use the dictionary for an asingment. Will it be ok? Is there any major difference between them.

I doubt that there is enough difference to make a difference. If you look inside the editers should tell you what changes have been made.

11 edition is the 11th edition of the dictionary. Whereas the 11th revised edition is supposed to be the same edition in which a revision of certain articles has been done. Minor editions not big enough so as to be called the 12th edition. Thats how revised editions are made. Little improvements.

I dont think there will be much trouble. Until the person who has recommended u this (if there is any) knows that the particularly required thing has been changed in the revised edition... If there is no such person just go ahead and use it....

11 version is the eleventh version of the dictionary. while the eleventh revised version is meant to be a similar version wherein a revision of particular articles has been achieved. Minor variants no longer sufficiently enormous with the intention to be referred to as the twelfth version. Thats how revised variants are made. Little advancements. I dont think of there'll be plenty challenge. until eventually the guy who has counseled u this (if there is any) is familiar with that the extremely required element has been replaced interior the revised version... If there's no such individual in basic terms bypass forward and use it.... TW ok
